THE VILLAGE GREEN FROM THE NW CORNER
On the far left of the picture with its tiled roof is the village hall; to the right of which is Pax Cottage, with the white window; between the two central trees is 'the village seat' and just to the left of the right tree you can make out the tower & spire of the church; moving across the green in the very far distance (too far to see) on the horizon, is Windsor Castle; coming back nearer is the Oak & Saw pub and further right the row of cottages along Rectory Rd; to the right again, obscured by the bushes, is the front wall of the Rectory; the road running across the picture joining Rectory Rd. leads to the St. Nicolas' CE School which is just to the left of the picture; the road continues on to the free car park to the left of the village hall. This picture was taken in early spring before the leaves obscure much of the view.

TAPLOW VILLAGE GREEN
Rectory Rd. on the left & High St. corner, with the Oak & Saw pub & green. The leaves on the trees are just forming.
THE VILLAGE
This is a rather distorted ultra wide angle view of the village. On the left is Rectory Rd. with the cottages and pub; in the centre the village green with the large plane tree in the front corner; just to the left of which, way across the green, you can see the white apex frontage of St.Nicolas' CE School; to the right of the tree in the distance is the village hall; slightly further to the right is Pax Cottage and the road to the right of the picture is the High St. with the church railings and lychgate.
